A day trip to one of the most beautiful nature destinations in Morocco, the valley of Asni and Ouirgane to discover breathtaking natural landscapes and spend an unforgettable moment in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
A professional driver will pick you up in the morning in your hotel or Riad in Marrakech to make you live a typical experience through exciting landscapes and discover the real authentic Morocco.
We will make a first stop in the small village of Tahanouat to visit a cooperative of Argan oil production and eventually the weekly Souk of the village which takes place every Tuesday before crossing the beautiful Ghiraya Gorge to arrive in Asni where you can take a short break to participate in a camel ride, take pictures or simply enjoy a good mint tea by the river before taking the road to Doaur Tassa Ouirgane.
At about 5 km before the famous village of Ouirgane, we will take the direction of Dar Tassa, a beautiful Berber house ideally located in the heart of a picturesque Doaur which takes the same name ‘Doaur Tassa’ at an altitude that allows to enjoy a magnificent view over the small valley of Tassa Ouirgane. We will attend a demonstration of Tanourt (Preparation of Berber bread) before having lunch on the panoramic terraces of Dar Tassa while enjoying this magical view of the valley and the Atlas Mountains.
We will then join our local guide for a walking tour that will allow us to discover this beautiful little Berber village as well as the culture and the authentic way of life of the Berber population of this region.
On the way back to Marrakech, we will take the road to Moulay Brahim to visit the plateau of kik and the lake of lalla Takerkoust where you can optionally participate in a water sport activity such as Jet Ski or have a cup of coffee on one of the terraces overlooking this fabulous lake surrounded by mountains and natural landscapes. Return to Marrakech.
